Dinner tonight with apples, eggs and milk

Uses apples, eggs, milk, flour, oil, salt, pepper, onion.

  1. Heat the oven to 220 C and put an oven-safe skillet with a spoonful of oil inside to get hot.
  2. Slice one onion and one apple thinly, then cook them in a second pan with oil, salt and pepper until soft and golden.
  3. Whisk three eggs, three quarters of a cup of milk, three quarters of a cup of flour and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the hot skillet, scatter the onion and apple on top, and bake about 18 minutes until puffed and brown.
  5. Slice and serve at once with a grind of pepper.

Savory apple and egg skillet

Uses apples, eggs, milk, onion, oil, salt, pepper.

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté diced onion until soft.
  2. Core and dice the apples, then add them to the skillet and cook for three minutes until starting to soften.
  3. Pour beaten eggs mixed with milk over the apples and onion, stirring gently until eggs are set.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
