Dinner tonight with green beans, milk and yogurt

Creamy green bean pasta with yogurt sauce

Uses green beans, milk, yogurt, pasta (staple), garlic (staple), onion (staple), flour (staple), oil (staple), salt (staple), pepper (staple).

  1. Boil salted water and cook the pasta. Add trimmed green beans cut into short pieces for the last 4 minutes, then drain.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and soften chopped onion and garlic for about 5 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Stir in a spoonful of flour for one minute, then slowly whisk in the milk. Simmer until it thickens slightly, about 4 minutes.
  4. Take the pan off the heat and let it cool a minute. Stir in the yogurt, salt, and pepper so it does not curdle.
  5. Toss the pasta and green beans in the sauce and serve warm.

Creamy garlic green bean pasta

Uses green beans, milk, yogurt, pasta, garlic, oil, salt, pepper.

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until tender, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add fresh green beans and cook for five minutes until starting to soften.
  4. Stir in yogurt and milk to create a creamy sauce, then toss with cooked pasta.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
