Dinner tonight with hummus, peas and pesto

Pesto pasta with peas and hummus sauce

Uses hummus, peas, pesto, pasta (staple), salt (staple), pepper (staple), garlic (staple), oil (staple).

  1. Boil salted water and cook the pasta until tender. Add the peas for the last two minutes.
  2. Scoop out a cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and peas.
  3. Warm a little oil in the pot and cook one minced garlic clove for 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in half a cup of hummus, two spoonfuls of pesto, and a splash of pasta water until creamy.
  5. Return the pasta and peas to the pot, toss well, and season with salt and pepper.

Pesto pea and hummus pasta

Uses hummus, peas, pesto, pasta, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper.

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain well.
  2. Toss hot pasta with olive oil, pesto, and minced garlic until coated.
  3. Stir in peas and hummus until pasta is creamy and peas are heated through.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
