Chicken salad on toasted bread

Tonight you have a rotisserie chicken salad that's already dressed and just needs to be warmed and spread. Toast some bread, layer the salad thick, and dinner is done in the time it takes to heat the oven.

Serves 2. 15 minutes, 8 at the stove.

  • 1 container signature rotisserie chicken salad

Staples

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F [190°C].
  2. While the oven heats, spread 1 tablespoon of butter on both sides of 4 slices of bread.
  3. Toast the bread in the oven until both sides are golden, about 6 to 7 minutes.
  4. Spread the chicken salad from the container onto the toasted bread and serve at once.

Note Swap the bread for crackers or lettuce leaves if you prefer. Leftover salad keeps refrigerated for two days. Serve with a side salad or pickle spears to round out the meal.
