You need

To buy

  • 2 oz sliced ham
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

From your shelf

  • 1 package big & flaky crescent rolls, Meijer

Staples

  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper

  1. Heat the oven to 400°F [200°C]. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into two rectangles along the perforations, then press each one lightly to seal any seams and flatten it into a thin square on an ungreased baking sheet.
  2. Spread about 2 tablespoons tomato sauce across each rectangle, leaving a thin border, then scatter about 1 ounce chopped ham over each one and top with 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted, about 12 to 14 minutes.

Note Swap ham for pepperoni or cooked sausage crumbles. Leftovers keep covered in the fridge for one day and reheat in a 350°F oven. Serve with a side salad or with a cold tomato soup.
