Peach yogurt breakfast bowl with granola clusters

This is barely cooking, but when you're tired and hungry, a composed bowl of creamy yogurt, crunchy clusters, and fresh fruit can be dinner. The Tillamook peach yogurt gives you both creaminess and sweet fruit without effort. Top it with granola you toast yourself for contrast.

You need

To buy

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

From your shelf

  • 16 oz California peach good and creamy lowfat yogurt, Tillamook

Staples

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • pinch salt
  • 1/3 cup [40g] flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove, minced garlic

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/3 cup flour, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 minced garlic clove, and a pinch of salt until coated and breaking into clusters.
  2. Spread on a plate and cool for two minutes while you divide the yogurt between two bowls.
  3. Scatter the warm clusters over each bowl of yogurt and serve right away.

Note The garlic toasts into the background and adds savory depth to the sweet oat clusters; skip it if you want purely sweet, or swap in 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon instead. Leftovers keep in an airtight container for four days. Serve with fresh berries or sliced stone fruit on the side if you have them.
