Strawberry banana yogurt parfait

A smooth, cool bowl built on creamy yogurt layered with granola and fruit, this parfait comes together in minutes when you're too tired to cook. The Tillamook yogurt is sweet enough that dinner doubles as dessert.

Serves 2. 10 minutes, 10 at the stove.

You need

To buy

  • one half cup granola
  • four ounces fresh strawberries

From your shelf

  • one container strawberry banana flavored blended lowfat yogurt, strawberry banana (Tillamook)

Staples

  • pinch salt

  1. Divide the strawberry banana yogurt between two bowls.
  2. Scatter two tablespoons of granola over the yogurt in each bowl and top with sliced fresh strawberries.
  3. Add a pinch of salt to each bowl to sharpen the fruit and finish eating.

Note Swap granola for crushed gingersnaps or almonds if that's what you have. The parfait keeps cold in the fridge for one day. Serve on its own or with buttered toast on the side for substance.
