Warm chocolate chunk cookies with sea salt

These cookies bake from ready-to-bake dough, warm from the oven in under twenty minutes. They're substantial enough for dinner when you need something that takes two minutes to get in the oven and tastes like a treat.

Serves 2. 20 minutes, 3 at the stove.

  • 1 package Annie's bake and share dough, chocolate chunk

  • pinch sea salt

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F [190°C].
  2. Divide the dough into four portions and place two inches apart on a sheet tray, spacing them so they have room to spread. Bake until golden at the edges, about fourteen minutes.
  3. Remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt over each warm cookie. Let them rest one minute, then transfer to a plate and serve warm.

Note Serve with cold milk or vanilla ice cream on the side. The cookies keep in an airtight container for two days. For breakfast tomorrow, reheat one cookie wrapped in a paper towel for thirty seconds in the microwave.
