You need

From your shelf

  • 1 jar Marie Callender's spaghetti with meat sauce

Staples

  • to taste salt
  • 6 ounces pasta

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
  2. Add 6 ounces of spaghetti and stir to separate the strands; cook until al dente, about 9 minutes, then drain.
  3. While the pasta cooks, pour the meat sauce into a saucepan and warm over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until steaming.
  4. Divide the hot pasta between two bowls and spoon the meat sauce over the top.

Note Pair this with a green salad dressed with oil and vinegar, or a side of buttered bread. Leftovers keep in an airtight container for three days and reheat gently on the stove with a splash of water to loosen the sauce.
